Local farmers cut and bale the grass behind the Visitor Centre ar Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetry.The land is owned by The Office of Public Works, who allow local farmers to take the grass in return for access onto their lands by visitors wishing to view all megalithic tombs on private lands.
