New developments at the armagh observatory

| Summary: | this photo shows the planetarium. the enterence to the new astropark and eartharium. the planetarium was uilt in 1965 near the site of the observatory stables. the astroparkis still incomplete. it occupys the 25 acres of mature parkland surrounding the observatory and provides access for viitors to view the outside of the observatoryand some instroments. special landscaping relating to astromony is being introduced the eartharium will be used to interest people in volcanic and earthquake activity and examine mans impact on the enviroment. |
