Summary:This autographed signed letter(3 pp.) is accompanied by four manuscript copy letters from Thomas Williams, Secretary to the Bank of Ireland to officers at the General Post Office, the Comptroller General of Stamps and the Commissioner of Excise and Commissioners of Customs, all on the same date of 11 January 1828 and same subject. The Treasury objected to delays of eight to twelve days in transmitting moneys lodged and the Bank of Ireland says this delay will not in fact apply, although it cannot comply in full with the plan as proposed by the Treasury.
