Summary: | Originally in the possession of John Ernest Grubb, a merchant who controlled the river trade between Clonmel and Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary, and whose son Ernest Grubb founded the Suir Stream Navigation Co. in 1877. Navigational directions taken in H.M. cutter 'Speedy' surveyed from the boat by Lieutenant Thomas Henderson commanding. Executed by A.S. Knight 2nd Master. With navigational instructions and shows Mount Congreve House, Waterford Bridge, Granny Castle and Long Reach. |
