Notes: | This item is held in the Department of Ephemera; formerly held at NLI call number POL/1920-30/7. Anti-Treaty handbill with cartoon (by unknown artist) of Michael Collins who is shown on the left hand side, holding a man (who has a tag around his neck with the words “Irish Citizen” written on it) by the throat with his left hand and forcing a rolled up piece of paper with the words “The Treaty” on it down his throat with his right. A speech bubble coming out of Collins' mouth reads: "You have got to swallow this - or else!". From the right hand side another person emerges (one can only see the arms of this person, who holds a bayonet, that has the word “Militarism” written on it).
