Etching satirising James II's departure from France for his campaign against William of Orange, in Ireland. James II (numbered 1) bids farewell to his queen, Mary of Moderna. She is surreptitiously chucking Louis XIV (numbered 2) under the chin as he fills James' purse. Behind Louis is Father Petre (numbered 3) and the young Prince of Wales with his windmill, ready to join the boat which is being loaded with provisions. The Dauphin is on horseback, armed with a spear and shield.
