Notes: | Research by our Flickr Commons users established that this photograph was taken at the corner of Henry Street and Sackville Street (now O'Connell Street) beside Nelson's Pillar and the GPO. The men are members of the Pro-Treaty National Army, including Captain Patrick 'Specky' Griffin on the right. Their Rolls-Royce Armoured Car is number ARR6, and is adorned wth an effigy Anti-Treaty republican Rory O'Connor. The armoured car was named 'Custom House'.
