Titlepage to vol.3 reads: 'A collection of letters, written by the Kings Charles I. and II. The Duke of Ormonde, .. Serving to verify and clear up matters related in the History of the life and times of James the first Duke of Ormonde, and published by way of appendix to that history, .. ' and is dated 1735. The imprint to vol.3 omits the printer's name.
Vols.1 and 2 are dated 1736.
A proposal for this work appeared in 1733 dated February 2, with the title: 'A proposal for printing by subscription, an history of the life of .. '.
Another issue of vol. 1 appeared in 1736 with the imprint: printed for J. J. and P. Knapton; G. Strahan; W. Innys and R. Manby; F. Giles; and T. Wotton.
