Inscribed in ink l.r. under title: This building is the most perfect, and best finished in Ireland, it is built of Kilkenny Marble polish'd, the Ornaments and Tombs's are Extreamly [sic] Curious (The latter are all in Ruin's) there is in the Middle of the Church a Slab of Siana Marble, 8 foot long, by 4 Wide, & Six Inches Thick. It is three miles from, Thurles, County Tipperary.

Inscribed in ink l.r.: Scale 35 Feet to an Inch.

Inscribed in ink on verso: No. 102 I Engraved.

The same handwriting on this drawing can also be seen on the plan of Cormac's Chapel, Cashel, in this collection (see 2122 TX (98)).
