Notes:Ambrose Bassett Lane was the son of James William Lane and Frances Adelaide Persse, and the brother of Sir Hugh Lane (1875-1915) and Ruth Shine née Lane. He born on 28 May 1878 in Devonport, Devon, England. He married Cicely Campbell Phillips in Vancouver, Canada, on 14 Dec. 1920. They had a son John Hugh Campbell Lane in 1924. Ambrose Bassett Lane died on 7 Jan. 1930 in Golden, British Columbia, Canada. Ruth Shine was born in 1880 in Redruth, Cornwall, England. She died in 1959 in Reading, Berkshire, England.
