| Notes: | Thomas William Lyster (1855-1922) joined the National Library of Ireland in 1878 and became Director in 1895. He retired in 1920 and died on 12 December 1922. In 1923 the T. W. Lyster Memorial Committee was established with W. B. Yeats as chairman. A memorial with a dedication to Lyster by W. B. Yeats was unveiled outside the Reading Room in the National Library of Ireland on 27th March 1926. Physical description: 5 folders. more |
