| Notes: | Jane Mahon, (born ca. 1740), was daughter of Thomas Mahon of Strokestown, Co Roscommon and Jane Mahon (née Crosbie), daughter of Maurice Crosbie, and a sister of Sir Maurice Mahon, Lord Hartland. In 1760, she married George Knox (who died on 23 August 1840). They had one daughter Mary Anne, who married Thomas Conroy, Esq., and four sons, Andrew (the heir), Thomas who married a Miss Dillon, Alexander who married a Miss Lynam and Maurice who married a Miss Wilson. |
