Summary:Colour postcard (published by Chas. L. Reis & Co., Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow) featuring an illustration (framed within a decorative oval of shamrocks) of a couple dancing - at right the man is depicted wearing a hat of grey-blue coloured material, a green coloured coat, a red coloured waist-coat and knickerbocker-style trousers that end at the knee; he wears blue coloured stockings and black shoes. The man holds a shillelagh [stick] aloft with his right hand as he dances opposite the lady. She is a red-haired woman who wears a red coloured head-scarf/mantle over her head and shoulders. She wears a yellow coloured skirt, over which she wears a white apron. Her bodice is of red coloured material. She wears black stockings and black shoes. Printed on the bottom of the postcard, underneath the figures of the dancing couple[though it looks as though it is written in manuscript hand, it is not] “Two of Irish & a little Limerick Twist”. Yellow coloured harps are depicted in each corner of the postcard. The title is printed in black ink in Cló Gaelach at top right of postcard "Bárr na maidne dhuit" and underneath this is printed [though it looks as though it is in manuscript hand, it is not] "The top of the morning to ye". Printed on postcard in brown coloured ink on verso is: "Chas. L. Reis & Co., Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow".
