| Summary: | Card printed on white paper with embossed edges, features a red satin ribbon tied into a bow at side, along with illustrations of bells and sprigs of holly. At centre of card, in gold ink is an image of the Irish Volunteers badge (designed in 1913 by Eoin MacNeill) consisting of a sunburst [An Gal Gréine], surmounted by an 8-pointed star, bearing the letters "FF" in Cló Gaelach encircled by a representation of an ancient warrior's sword belt. Message printed inside card in gold coloured ink reads: "All Good Wishes / for Christmas and the / New Year / From" and underneath this is signed "Pye and Peggy" in blue coloured ink. Printed in gold coloured ink underneath this is: "Army Headquarters, Dublin, 1956". |
