Summary: | Christmas postcard featuring at top left, a star emitting rays of light while at top right of card, printed in red coloured font is “To wish you a happy and holy Christmas”. Within a diamond shape underneath this, the infant Jesus is depicted in his mothers' arms, his arms stretched out, as though in a blessing. Around this scene is a profusion of sprigs of holly and shamrocks. Underneath this printed in Cló Gaelach is "Beannacta na Nodhlag agus na n ath-bliadhna". Verse printed inside card in black ink in Cló Gaelach and underneath is printed a verse in English, both decorated with an illustration of sprigs of holly. Printed on verso in green coloured ink is a small harp, with sprigs of shamrock on either side. Underneath this is printed: "Printed in Ireland” and the number “70212”. |
