| Summary: | Broadside poem, designed by Raymond Kyne Design Associates in 1997, one from a series issued to be displayed on DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) trains, featuring a decorative green and blue pattern framing the verses of the poem, terminating in an image of a DART train with several carriages depicted at bottom right of sheet. 'The Archaeologists', first published in 'The Walking Wounded' (1985), is reprinted with the poet's permission. [The DART is an electrified commuter railway network serving the coastline and city centre of Dublin]. |
