Title on note attached to verso continues "Mrs. Terance MacSwiney; widow of the Lord Mayor of Cork who died recently following a self-imposed hunger strike, photographed as she was leaving St. Patrick's Cathedral, N.Y.C., to-day after attending mass. Thousands of people thronged the streets about the famous Cathedral awaiting the arrival of Mrs. MacSwiney.". Note includes "Watch Your Credit / 128583-International".

Three copies include date "Dec., 1920" and stamp "National Library of Ireland / Joly Collection" on verso. Fourth copy includes annotation in pencil "Box VI".
