| Summary: | Typescript letters from poet Seumas O'Sullivan (James Sullivan Starkey) to actress Máire Nic Shiubhlaigh. In a letter dated 11 October 1937 he refers to her radio broadcasts; in a letter dated 22 November 1943 he refers to his writing his autobiography and his hopes of talking to her about their involvement in the theatre movement in Ireland and their rehearsing plays in her family home in High Street, Dublin. Also included is a New Year card sent to Nic Shiubhlaigh from O'Sullivan and his wife Estella Solomons, which contains an illustration by Solomons and a poem by O'Sullivan, titled 'In North Great George's Street'. |
