Notes:Henry Grattan was first elected to the Irish House of Commons in 1775 as MP for Charlemont. He did not offer himself for re-election in 1797. In 1800, he purchased a parliamentary seat for the borough of Wicklow and re-joined the House of Commons for a very short period. He re-entered politics after the Union, going to Westminster in 1805, representing the borough of Malton. He was elected to represent the city of Dublin in 1806, and for the last time in 1818. He was an MP until his death in June 1820.
