Notes: | This item is held in the Department of Ephemera. The Fountain Head Iron Foundry was established in 1840 in James's Street, Dublin by Matthew Byrne, a former engineer who had served in the Royal Navy; his son, Matthew W. took over the foundry and changed his surname to O'Byrne.
