Summary:Handbilll for a music concert in Father Matthew Hall, Church Street, Dublin which included the performance of two plays - 'An Tobar Naomhtha' ['The holy well', written by Searlot Ní Dhúnlaing/Charlotte Dowling, (1881-1953)] and 'The West Briton's Romance' by Alphonsus Lowry and an address by the Capuchin priest Fr. Augustine Hayden (1870-1954). [During Easter Week 1916, Fr. Augustine assisted Cumann na mBan members in the hospital based in Fr. Mathew Hall and on Thursday of that week went to the Volunteer position in the Four Courts; he subsequently conveyed surrender orders through the Dublin garrisons]. Admission entry was 6d., 1 & 2s. Printed at top of sheet: 'Do chum glóire Dé agus onóra na hÉireann' ['For the glory of God and the honour of Ireland'].
