Helen Blackburn Memorial Fund.

Bibliographic Details
Summary:Helen Blackburn was born in Ireland and joined the British suffrage movement. Leaflet refers to Helen Blackburn Memorial Fund subscriptions. First lines read: "It has been generally felt by those who loved and respected Miss Blackburn -- that is, by all who really knew her -- that there ought to be some permanent Memorial of her. We who knew her need nothing to keep her memory green, but a definite Memorial will keep before the younger generation the name of one who, by her character, her wisdom and her work, is an example worthy to be followed". Includes a list with names of those who have already subscribed - Frances Balfour, Lilias Ashworth Hallett, Catherine Drew, Maude A. Biggs, Emily Hill, Gertrude J. King, E. Haslam, Florence Davenport Hill, Emily FitzGerald and two names added in manuscript hand - Clara Evelyn Mondaw and Mary Grey Allen.
