Summary: | Invitation card sent to members of the Dungannon Orange Lodge to attend an assembly - "Your Lodge will assemble on Monday the 27 Inst. [Instant] at 8 o'clock precisely when your presence is earnestly requested if from unavoidable circumstances you cannot possibly attend you will please inform me, by order James Winder Secretary" [and signed by him]. At top, coat of arms with motto "Quid verum atque decens" [Latin, rough translation is "What is true and befitting"]. Banner featured at left of coat of arms reads: "For the Protestant religion & liberties of those kingdoms". |
