Summary: | Seán O'Mahony was elected as a Sinn Féin M.P. for Fermanagh South in the 1918 general election while in Lincoln Gaol, having been arrested during the the 'German Plot' of 1917. He was released from prison in 1919 and attended the proceedings of the First Dáil. "Eire gó brath!" is printed at the foot of notice in Cló Gaelach script. |
