| Notes: | 'Orpheus and Eurydice' is Heaney's translation of Ovid's 'Metamorphoses' Book X and was published in 'The Midnight Verdict' (1993). Drafts filed alongside a letter to Heaney from Michael [Hofmann] dated 19 December 1992, in which he refers to Heaney's work on the 'Metamorphoses'.
