Summary: | The South Beach with the railway running alongside has not changed greatly in the past one hundred years. The new sewage treatment works , at present being constructed should not alter the appearance of the beach when they are finished . the beach huts which were dismantled and brought to the beach by horse and cart are no longer used. |
