Notes:The island, also known as Clear Island (Cléire), lies 6 miles off Baltimore, and it is the largest island of Carbery's Hundred Isles, the name given to the islands of Roaring Water Bay. It is Ireland's most southerly inhabited island, and it is a Gaeltacht island. The island was the last view of Ireland for emigrants sailing from Queenstown (Cobh).
