For details of the other impressions see EP WELL-AR (81A) III and EP WELL-AR (81B) III With coat of arms and motto 'Virtutis Fortuna Comes' (Fortune favours the brave) The original from which this half-length is taken is 'Canvas of 1806; whole length, life size, standing, face slightly to left, wearing uniform of a major-general with ribbon and star of the Bath; holding his hat and sword.
