Notes:The 1925 letter is written from the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin, and is signed in manuscript by Pádraic Ó Máille, Liam Mag Aongusa and Alasdair Mac Cába. The 1926 document os addressed from Barry's Hotel, Great Denmark Street, Dublin, and typed signatories include Piaras Béaslaí, Alec McCabe (who also signed the other document in Irish), Liam Langley, Liam Magennis, Maurice Moore (former British Army Colonel), Joseph Stanley (printer of many Sinn Féin documents), Thomas Keating and others. It states: "The recent undemocratic surrender of the Ministry to British aggression has imperilled our future as a nation."
