Summary:Illustration depicts an evicted tenants' family huddling together, trying to shelter from snow outside the remains of their home; the man looks across the fields at the 'Big House', the landlords' three storey dwelling, which is lit up. Printed on the sheet underneath image are verses attributed to O. L. - first lines read: "Look at this scene - Two houses are pictured here, / One full of comfort where the fire shines bright. / The other, to its tenants once was dear ; / Squalid and bare to-night!...".
