Summary: | Broadside concerning the collapse of Burton's bank in 1733. The bank was established by Benjamin Burton (who died in1728), an Alderman who had served as Lord Mayor of Dublin in 1706 and represented Dublin as an M.P. from 1703 to 1723. When the bank collapsed, Parliament passed an Act vesting the real and personal assets of directors in trustees. |
