Summary:View of the late seventeenth-century Charles Fort overlooking Kinsale Harbour, County Cork, Ireland. It also shows the massive pointed corner bastions and intervening wall on the right, which were unsuccessful in protecting the fort against the Williamite forces in 1690, while inside are the eighteenth-century two-storey barrack buildings
