Image within circular ink frame diam. 11.7 cm. Watermark u.l. on sheet is possibly J WHATMAN

This was obviously a castle lived in at the time by a friend of Austin Cooper's for we find him noting in his diary for 12th September, 1784 (NLI, Ms. Acc. 4841) that "Jack & Hannah and I went to Barberstown and retd to Dinner"
