Watermark u.l. on sheet is possibly J WHATMAN This was obviously a castle lived in at the time by a friend of Austin Cooper's for we find him noting in his diary for 12th September, 1784 (NLI, Ms. Acc. 4841) that "Jack & Hannah and I went to Barberstown and retd to Dinner" Physical description: 1 drawing diam image 11.3 cm., on sheet 18.3 x 26.7 cm.
