Notes: | From: Antiquities of Abbeys, Castles & c. & c. in Ireland, Vol. I Title inscribed in ink l.c. on sheet under image Inscribed in pencil l.l. on sheet: See Meath book Image within an ink frame 20.2 x 12.5 cm. Watermark u.r. on sheet appears to consist of the letters IW [probably J WHATMAN?]. Austin Cooper mentions this tomb in his diary (NLI Ms. Acc. 4841, Drogheda 1783). He says "In the wall are two curious figures representg. [sic] Skeletons of a man & his wife whom it is said were eat in that manner by fishes. It is impossible to describe it, therefore must let a drawing of it, answer the purpose" Physical description: 1 drawing image 19.5 x 11.4 cm., on sheet 26.7 x 18.2 cm.
