Notes:Robert Ponsonby Tottenham was born Robert Ponsonby Loftus on 5th September 1773, in Woodstock, County Wicklow, the son of Charles Loftus, 1st Marquess of Ely and Jane Myhill. He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford. He was Precentor of Cashel from 1798 to 1804 and then became Bishop of Killaloe and Kilfenora. On his father's death, he inherited the Tottenham Green estate and changed his surname back to the older family name of Tottenham. He married Hon. Alicia Maude, daughter of Cornwallis Maude, 1st Viscount Hawarden and Anne Isabella Monck, on 28 May 1807.In 1820 he was transferred to Ferns and then to Clogher in 1822. He died on 28 April 1850.
