Notes:This collection is comprised of the papers of William FitzMaurice, a land agent from county Carlow. This also includes the papers of other family members, most notably Colonel Arthur Joseph FitzMaurice and Jane FitzMaurice. As William was a land agent, he has the papers of other Carlow estates in his collection. The main estates are the Burton, Baillie and Rochfort estates. The papers of other clients are also included. Most of the items in this collection relate to the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. However, there are some items from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
