Firstly, there is material relating to events organised by the ‘Seán Ó Riada Foundation’. The papers comprise: a poster for the “Seán Ó Riada Memorial Fund: A Unique Cultural Evening with Sean Lucy, Seán Ó RÍordáin and John Montague, 21 May 1972; correspondence with Montague regarding ways in which to continue the work of Ó Riada; and a programme for “Pléaráca an Riadaigh”, 28-29 September 1974. There is also correspondence to Montague from Armel Morgant and a typescript draft by Kenneth White concerning a celebration of Ó Riada’s work at a Breton Festival c.1983. Lastly, the file contains material regarding the "Ó Riada Retrospective” at the National Concert Hall, 24-26 April 1987. These papers comprise: correspondence with Noel Pearson, 29th October 1986; programmes; and a booklet which accompanied the concert which is signed by contributors Cyril Cusack and Thomas Kinsella.
