This file mainly comprises S.W. Hayter’s exhibition catalogues: ‘The Engravings of S.W. Hayter', Victoria and Albert Museum, (1967); ‘Hayter’, The Neptune Gallery, signed by the artist, (1975); and ‘S.W. Hayter: Peintures’, 1940-1975, (1976). The latter publication is accompanied by correspondence from Hayter’s third wife Désirée Moorhead, (1975- 1976). Secondly, there is an essay by J.M.G. Clézio to accompany an engraving by Hayter (not included), (1966). Lastly, the material relates to Hayter’s death concerning: a posthumous exhibition, ‘Hommage A Hayter’, Paris, (1988); and obituaries collected by Montague (1988- 1989).
