Letter from William Barrett to Mary Hutton,

Barrett declines an invitation from Mrs. Hutton, as his doctor will not allow him to go out at night. He says that he was just about to write to her to ask her to dinner, in order to meet some friends of his from Longford. He adds that, when his sister returns home, she will write to Mrs. Hutton again to make a definite arrangement.
