Letter from William O'Brien to Timothy Healy,
1923 March 3.
O'Brien responds to views expressed by Healy on reading the proofs of his soon to be published book. He acknowledges the 'profound difference of opinion' that has arisen between them over the Treaty negotiations, but feels that their long friendship can withstand such disagreements. As to suggested small changes in phraseology, O'Brien says it is too late to make them as the book is already overdue.
