Architectural drawing for a roof for Asgill House, Richmond, London owned by Sir Charles Asgill, 1st Baronet (1713-1788). Asgill House, built on part of the former site of Richmond Palace, was designed by the architect Sir Robert Taylor (1714–1788) and built in in 1757-1758 as a weekend retreat and holiday villa for Asgill. PD AD 3186 - PD AD 3299 (8 loose leaves; 2 vols. of drawings, formerly held at formerly held at NLI MS 22,015 and NLI MS 22,016) transferred to Department of Prints & Drawings in 2005.
