Griffin Collection : This is an ongoing donation from Mr Stephen Griffin, at present numbering some 6,000 items, reflecting the history, experience and printed output of the Irish-American diaspora. It includes major works by Irish-American writers such as James T. Farrell and Eugene O’Neill, American editions of Irish literature, critical and biographical works, and many rare books and pamphlets. The collection is presented to the people of Ireland by Stephen Griffin in memory of his parents, Anna Veronica and Joseph Leo Griffin.
