Notes: | An attempt was made, following a Press advertisement and a “Public Meeting and Discussion” in March 1930, to set up a Dublin Film Society. File contains circulars, press notices, correspondence with the London Film Society, Ivor Montagu, Sidney Bernstein and film distributors. The file contains copies of correspondence between the Governor-General’s office, Deptartment of Justice and Garda Siochana – Detective Branch.
