Letter from Kuno Meyer to Alice Stopford Green regarding some issues leading to World War One,

Meyer relates that Richard Irvine Best will visit Berlin to receive the silver medal from the Prussian Academy, but the German Kaiser will not be able to attend the ceremony due to the crisis in the Balkans. Meyer also mentions a defence tax and writes that there is almost no grumbling amongst the German people about paying it.
