Arana's actions of late include; Roberts belief that [Julio César] Arana is free from the criminal courts in Peru and cannot be tried in an English criminal court; his removal from the post of liquidator of the Peruvian Amazon Company; his continuous delaying in coming before the Committee to provide his evidence; and questionable photographs they Committee have of Arana acting humane towards the natives and friendly toward the consulates.
