Correspondence concerning an account with vouchers for reimbursement, payments that need to be paid to M. H. Ashworth’s account, Thomas F. Nooney of Mullingar as a possible appointment to the Board of Control of the Royal Canal, Ginnell seeking financial upkeep, a complaint being forwarded to Redmond regarding the agrarian policy of the National Directory and a marked article from the 'Westmeath Examiner'. Also contains correspondence upon the subject of promoting the National Policy, the Parliamentary Fund, people of Westmeath being resentful of the fact that the local League remains in the hands of the graziers, Laurence Ginnell denying that he has received a summons from Judge Ross or that he has evaded service, the Milltown (Rathconrath) Branch of the United Irish League affirming their support for Ginnell and urging Redmond to admit him to the ranks of the Irish Parliamentary Party.
