Notes:The family of Robert O’Doherty were proprietors of the Palace Cinema in Kilrush, Co. Clare, and he began collecting film memorabilia there as a youth. A file may contain all of these items or only some: a poster of the film, a press book, lobby cards, production stills, theatre programmes of showings, press cuttings and portraits of the artistes and the director. Occasionally a producer’s/distributor’s list of suggested items for a musical accompaniment to the silent films is included. The series is arranged by country, generally one catalogue record per country.
