Frank Gallagher's prison diaries while interned in Kilmainham,

Includes diary entries regarding the setting up of a "Camp Council", escape from the camp through a "tunnell", parcels from Cecilia, the bad conditions in the camp regarding indiscipline towards the council, swearing, hunger and beatings in the camp. Gallagher also records the organisation of a hunger strike to stop the beating of prisoners. The diary also notes how the prisoners created a memorial to the second anniversary of Terence MacSwiney's death and how "F.S (Free State) troops marched to the chapel and tramped it endlessly". Includes some sections in short hand.
