In Collection: Letters from George Bernard Shaw to various persons
Description:Goch intends to join a group relating to the British Film Industry only to try to take it over and Shaw advises him that "if you really have any talent in acting, simulate the gullibility and respect for your elders of a harmless young man...and conceal the probability that if they let you in you will force them out. You are a bumptious and intolerant young man, and possibly a very able one; and you have the valuable but unattractive quality of untouchable obstinacy".
